2. Der Mitlaut nach kurzem Selbstlaut wird verdoppelt:

3. ”y” vor der –ing Form bleibt erhalten:

  buy  -  buying

  play  -  playing

  fly  -  flying

4. ”ie” wird in “y” verwandelt:

   lie  -  lying (liegen)

     die  -  dying (sterben)
